Again, quite well written. I'm really glad to see that my dry words helped to produce some beautiful language. As for content, I think I can accept or agree with all of it. What is missing, however, is a dynamic view. What will interest me the most is not an analysis or answer from a static viewpoint. Rather, I was asking about a historical trend. If we hold a more or less Taoist view, we may think of the currently observed historical trend as a dynamic cycle with two elements waxing and waning in turns. If that is the case, we should be glad to see a few individuals (such as Lu Han, perhaps) to help preserve and cultivate seeds for a new wave to come (or come back). If, on the other hand, we hold a "progressive" historical perspective, then Lu Han (and perhaps myself as well) are just a few and last dinosaurs. To say the best, we are but contemporary Don Quixote. - Re: 由ZXD兄对文坛NOBILITY的讨论所感posted on 11/30/2003

Lu Han's strong belief seems admirable to me. For a lack of a better word for now, I'll just say that I feel somewhat to have found a kind of "comradeship" or companion.
