This is a Tribute to Baba my beloved cat, mystic teacher who touched the lives of many, many, many souls on his journey here in his cat incarnation. When I moved from Orange Grove I had people come up to me saying " You don't know me but I will really miss BABA ." Nothing to me just about Baba. I had people calling telling me stories of his antics and how he made them laugh. That he never saw any house as anything but his. The world was his play space. One woman called saying" I have your cat. His name is BABA my teachers name is BABA and he has been in the states for three months. I have not gone to see him or called him. I had to have a cat come to me to tell me to call my teacher. I promised him I would.
I adored Baba. His vastness of spirit. His adventurous spirit. It was so difficult seeing his lethargy developed when we had to keep him in for the three weeks when we moved in. I vowed to allow him to be the great being he was. To touch the hearts of the many that he always did. The Soul of an adventurer and the body of a Prince.
When he was not home by 1:00am I was out calling him with his special whistle my beloved cat/dog. As you can guess by now My sweet boy died last nite. I can tell you that he was hit by a car but the truth is he was finished
with his mission here.
Yes he is fine, he told me I, I am heart broken. I am also greatful to have spent this time with this wonderful being.
He is buried in our back yard and a plum tree will be placed over him as a testimony to his yumminess and his far reaching effects.

我的老师gurutej有两只猫， 一只叫叭叭，是一只5岁左右的雄性老怪猫。 另一只叫Mr. angel。Gurutej显然更偏爱叭叭一点。
初次见到这老怪猫，着实吓了我一大跳。 这猫足有一条中不溜的狗那么大，那么重。 它有一身白色的长毛。 Gurutej给它剪了个特别奇怪的发型，就是保留它的四个蹄子周围，屁股一圈，脖子一圈的白毛，其他地方全都剃光，光的就直接看得见皮肤。就像某些人给他们的puddle狗剃毛一样，就把一只公猫弄成个半狗半猫的模样。说实在的，它头上的毛垂下来，简直就像一个没有带缠头布的锡克猫，而且还有满脸满腮的大胡子。以前说过，Gurutej是个锡克教徒。
叭叭行动有威严，走起路来四四方方，一脸严肃。俨然一个猫士兵。它对同学们的谄媚和爱抚无动于衷，对任何的爱怜和讨好都不买帐。 让人一下子就知道它在这家中的教皇地方。
我们上课的时候，这两只猫有充分的行动自由，它们可以随意在我们四周走动、撒娇。 还不时过来亲亲哪个人的脚丫子，或者倒在哪个人的垫子上呼呼大睡。 它们比较偏好的地方是客厅里几扇大窗，它们喜欢趴在那里睡觉。 有时我们chant的声音吵醒了它们，它们就打着哈欠，一边嘲笑我们呼哧呼哧做运动，说：哈哈，看你们这傻样，我们什么都不做，整天睡觉，没灵性悟性的家伙们啊，你们又肥又笨，真蠢！

说到爱宠物。 说到宠物死后主人的悲伤，总让我联想起小时看的连环画。 是高尔基的《在人间》，还是《童年》，不记得了。 说是一个特别吝啬的面包房老板，下面的工人特别恨他，在他的猪圈里下了毒，把他最心爱的几只乌克兰大白猪给毒死了，他发现了，抱着他的大白猪痛哭流涕，比死了亲妈还伤心。 我记得特别清楚的是一个特别胖的老胖子趴在大白猪身上哭的样子。各位如果也记得，请帮我回忆清楚。 那几本小人书真好啊！高尔基的这三部曲写得最棒。
老师讲话的时候，我就忍不住想起那个面包房的老胖子。
我不该在老师伤心的时候，胡乱联想，但联想是不顾什么道不道德的。 我特别担心哪天在什么不认识的人的追悼会上忍不住为一些人的假哭笑出声来。我总接到什么生孩子party的邀请，还从没有受到追悼会的请柬，我宁愿去火葬场走走。我挺喜欢去墓园逛的，美国的墓园比公园还幽静，还漂亮。
小时有一次，我们工厂在河边建了一座火葬场，他们烧死人的时候有一股特别怪的味道。不像是烤鲜肉，倒更像是烧腐烂的臭肉。 我哥说他们几个男孩子跑到火葬场偷看烧死人，那死人烧一烧就会坐起来，像一只放进滚水里的虾，一下子就抽抽地坐起来了。这场景让我笑得肚子疼。 每次想起火葬场，就想到一个突然“腾”地坐起来的死尸，把所有来追悼的人都吓死，人跑光了以后，那尸体又慢条斯理地躺回去。
