Memories of You
Memories of you, constantly, haunt my dreams,
In my mind I silently endure your last requiems.
The screaming wind, it pushed you from the cliff to fall,
And onto rocks were you flung like a small rag-doll.
Your body wrecked, your spirit gone, I feel like I¡¯ve done wrong,
The path that lies ahead of me, less then a mile long.
This poem stays beside me; I have a knife at hand,
One small flick, it¡¯s over, on my wrist it lands.

Lying to You
Sometimes I hear you muttering; sometimes I hear your sighs,
Whichever one it happens to be, you refuse to meet my eyes.
You turn away to others; you offer me your lies,
And so I keep my distance, in attempt to respect your rights.
Life goes on without you, neither earth nor sky,
As they¡¯ve said before you, ¡°When the time of death is nigh.¡±
All this has gradually happened, evolved from one small lie,
And as the sun sets quietly, the plants will wilt and die.
