its name is Tall mountain shooting star.(Dodecatheon jeffreyi)

这大约是我见过的最奇妙的植物！
猪笼草是一种美丽而奇特的食虫植物,为猪笼草科、猪笼草属多年生草本或半木质化藤本灌木。叶片披针形，革质，全缘，末端有一瓶状叶笼，上有小盖，瓶内有特殊的黏液，可消化小昆虫。总状花序，花淡黄绿色或紫红色。是优雅别致的家居装饰植物!
在我看来就是美丽, 温柔的陷阱 :-)

非也非也。dodeca希腊词根，“十二”的意思……

There were, at various times, seventeen different gods recognized as Olympians, though never more than twelve at one time.
Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Ares, Hermes, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Demeter, and Hestia are the 12 Olympians. should be '12 olympians', another chinese translation:

巴斯克在那里捕鲸，炼鲸油照明。巴斯克人一度是海上的骄民，象维
京人一样，阿马达以后就失势了。

lucy，在广州的迎春花市上，这猪笼草随处可见，价格也不贵。我家今年也添了一盆，现正挂在阳台上:)
lucy讲了植物学上的知识，我来补充一些民俗类的。说实话，这猪笼草并不算漂亮，尤其在“乱花渐欲迷人眼”的花市上，以它的色泽和姿态，不容易吸引眼球。但每年它的销量都很可观，原因就在于“意头”好。
粤语有句俗语叫“猪笼入水”，用来祝福别人（尤其是生意人）财源广进。大家想想看，猪笼是网状的，当它放到水里时，水就往猪笼里灌，好比什么东西从四面八方滚滚而来。另外，“水”在粤语中寓意财富，这就更切合了一层，“猪笼入水”便顺理成章地象征“财源滚滚”了。
所以呢，广东地区的花农特意把这种植物起名为“猪笼草”，以迎合讲究“意头”的广州人的心理。尤其在春节，捧一盆猪笼草回家，来年想不发达都不行了 :)

这一个个精制的小袋袋很CUTE。叫“猪笼草”似乎不太好听。哪位诗人很取个新名字吧…
