In what way are A and B alike?

Good one. I buy it.
My son is extremely good at telling difference, but I didn't hear too much he talking about the similarities. - posted on 11/08/2007
This is interesting. I tried it on my 10 years old. (Even though she is too old for this, I was curious to see what she would answer, becasue she is not good in abstract thinking.)
Q: What is in common between a cow and a TV?
A: (right away) They both make big sound.
(her turn to ask me)
Q: What is the difference between water and beverage?
(she thinks telling difference is easier, and she is giving me easy questions first.)
A: Water has no taste, beverage has good taste.
Q: What is the same between a car and a star?
A: (laughed, apparently she liked the game) They rhyme, and they both shine. (a new car, like the one we test-drove......)
(her question to me)
Q: What is the other word for aroma?
(Still, she laughed, and enjoyed playing by her term.)
A: A pleasant smell?
Q: What is in common between laughing and a plate?
A: (she laughed so hard and could not stop for a while, then she said,) Laughing is loud, and when you break a plate, it is loud too.
(finally, her turn of the same question for me)
Q: What is in common between sea and shore?
A: They meet at the same place. No sea, no shore, blah blah blah,...
(Then she said, so what is the name of the place, a building, a school, a light house? NO!)
(I got it) Beach!

It is interesting to see how young minds are working....:-)
Been busy these several days, did not get a chance to write down her answer until now:
Q:What is the nickname of detergent?
A:(right away)Deodorant, they sound similar. No, Snowy. .. No, Al Capone! becasue "Al Capone does my shirts."
"Al Capone Does My Shirts" is a book she recently read by Gennifer Choldenko.
She named all her dolls and stuff animals, even the car I am driving. "Charlie" at the beginning, then she changed that to "Cupcake". Getting gasoline is of course feeding Cupcake, because Cupcake is hungry.
One day, we were talking about getting a new car. She's concerned that "Cupcake" may leave us. She asked, "Daddy, are we buying a new car?", daddy said "yes", then she asked again, "Do we need to sell cupcake? Daddy, did not answer right away, not knowing she's referring to the car, he thought she's talking about selling cupcake like selling girl scout cookie to rasie money. So he answered, "yes, you can sell cupcake, but you need to sell LOTs of cupcake in order to get the new car."
