I knew all along. ;)
I don't think so. Actually HC has been chipping away BO's lead thanks to BO's own weakness and blunders.
HC's steadfastness is comparable to and exceeding Richard Nixon's.

Obama can save America? Even God himself cannot save America.
Can someone tell me exactly what Obama can bring to this country and this world? In his political speeches, did he lay out any specific agenda?
Ending the war in Iraq? That means total failure of U. S. presence in Mid East no matter who started it and how was it started, and that will make the U. S. a real second class country in the world, and help the Muslim to spread out their life style all over the world. Not too bad idea - I will be able to have 4 wifes legally. OK, say, Obama can win the war in Iraq. Then what?
Save the U. S. economy? Wait for a minute. What's exactly wrong with U. S. economy? Nobody wants to point out the fact that American people are becoming too lazy and greedy year by year - they want to enjoy all the best things and all resources of the world, but no one wants to work hard, no kids want to study hard. USA can no longer produce anything. Can Obama change all these?
Bring healthcare to every citizen? Come on! We all know the secret. Why more and more people cannot afford healthcare? No one wants to point out the basic fact - people in healthcare industry (doctors, nurses, insurance companis, drug manufacturers, etc.) are paid way too much - way more than any other countries in the world. You want to lower their income to the same level of the doctors in France, Canada, UK, and other countries? Dream on.
Save the environment? Good idea. That means all of us will have to live in much smaller houses like the people in Euorpean countries, take buses or trains to go to work like the people in Japan, turn air conditioning to 81 F during summer and lower the heat to 55F in the winter. Try it.
I would say, realistically, all Obama can do is to make white women (and Asian women) more eager to have sex with black men. Don't take this as an insult to anyone - I am serious. Please go back to MLK's speech - "I have a dream" - which part of his dream has come to true? "I have a dream" is basiclly about money and sex - black men want to more money and more sex - that's all. Today black men still cannot get enough money because they cannot enjoy the same work opportunities as white men or Asian men. Why? Simply because black people are lazy. However, black men can "almost" enjoy free sex with most white women and some Asisn women, but just a little bit gap still there. So what Obama can do is to improve the image of black men, and increase the income of black families by collecting more tax from everyone and give the free money to the black. That will remove the last barrior in white and Asian women's hearts. From the biological point of view, there is nothing wrong with this. We are all animals - some sort. So what's the next? Obama will win the general election, USA will withdraw from Iraq, we will have peace with Arabs - because they have got their man in White House. People in Africa (not from Mexico) will flood the Unite States.
Fortunately, I am just a naturalized American citizen - less loyal than Obama to this country. At least 70% of my heart is still with China. In case things go totally wrong in this country, I can always take my plan B - back to the home villege and live in the land where my family tree has lived there for centuries. To me, that's not a failure - it is win-win deal.
