Saw it in a local theater as a special event. The debt seemed a huge but abstract number to me before. But the movie puts it into perspective. It's currently 66% annual GPD. Or it averages about $30,000 on every American, old or young , or $60,000 on every working person. I wouldn't run my family finance like that. The movie, however, doesn't mention how much money the U.S. lends to other countries -- I've heard it's not a small number. But one can imagine a lot might be lent to poor countries for political or humane reasons and may never be returned. Experts on the issue?

Some coworkers saw it. Too expensive for me.
Buffett said he dis-agree with many part of the movie, that kills my interests. - posted on 08/27/2008
