hi lucy,
good to hear from you! there are several things that cause yellow leaves on citrus. too much water and /or lack of proper fertilizer. in your case, it appears by the look of the leaves that your citrus is getting too much water - and there has been a lot lately. often, it is because the soil isn't draining properly or the citrus may be by affected by water draining off the roof. when looking at your pictures, i did not see distinct green veins surrounded by yellow, which is a sign of not enough iron, a cause of yellowing in citrus. so, this leads me to believe it is the rain-soaked soil. however, citrus need a lot of nitrogen right now after winter so, if you have not done so yet, put some organic citrus fertilizer on the plant now. it won't start absorbing the fertilizer until the soil warms up and dries out. but then you should start to see some green leaves. when the rains stop, don't water the citrus until the top four to six inches of soil are dry. if this is a pretty mature tree, you may want to water deeply about once a month in the summer. if it is by a lawn, try to direct the water away from it. good luck! and please let me know if you have more questions. i love answering them. also, if you want, i can come by and do another "walk thru" again and talk about what issues i might see. let me know if you would like me to drop by again.
regards,

The leaves will recover...shouldn't be an issue if it's natural rain. Make sure it's well drained and the soil has right PH.
Your post of Rainy Sunday showed lots of sunny pictures instead. I thought there must have been lots of wet figures in a misty or even stormy weather... - Re: rainy Sunday -- 雨淋淋的周日posted on 04/12/2010

don't add garlic at the beginning.
Let the tomato "sauce" simmer till almost ready, then sprinkle the minced garlic on top and give it a quick stir. Then it's ready to serve.
Garlic and Tomato are not very good combination. (Green) oinion/scarlion would enhance the flavor a lot better, probably.
Your millet porridge looks like corn meal but very appetiting. What are those orange balls? are they cantaloupe? It would be good for dinner also, with several large apples and a handful of almonds. - posted on 04/12/2010
green peas are very easy to cook.
Save the large shrimp shells from your previous cooking. Stuff them with drained, pre-boiled green peas, then tie it with either celery fiber or chive or thin green onion strip.
Drop each one in a bowl of flour paste and have them coated. If you want, you can add some sesame in the flour paste.
Fry them in partial oil with animal fat or butter. Deep fry, not stir fry.
Then, place them in a plate and add some ornament, if you like. It's served with rice and beer, if you drink...
The above dish is invented by 凯
Pure imagination, as I have not tried it yet... - Re: rainy Sunday -- 雨淋淋的周日posted on 04/12/2010
Thanks for the instruction.
The millet was ground in the making, it also contains
Yes, they are cantaloupe. Your dinner diet sounds very healthy, I'll definitely not be able to consume several large apples for dinner, but ok for several big piece of meat.:-)
Your pea receipt is fun to read.

Ground millet? it's going to stick to the pot when you boil it, isn't it? I thought the millet/.../rice/ flour is used to make pastry...
your bamboo plate matt and the chopstick rest look very attractive.
That bamboo matt can also be used to prepare sushi, I guess... - Re: rainy Sunday -- 雨淋淋的周日posted on 04/12/2010

I used a soymile maker Igot from China -- 九阳五谷豆浆机 -- very good, no sticky pot to wash. The millet was not ground when I put them in, the machine cook and ground them.
The bamboo mat is not the same as the one that can be used to make sushi, the mat has a backing. But yeah, same idea.....

- posted on 04/12/2010

It was inspired by Golf Channel (featuring the Masters) tip of the day -- Keep your upper body over yuor lower body) --
加了dried cranberry & diced apple - posted on 04/12/2010
by looking at the shape of that rice stack, it might be easier to steam them in a flat bottom cyclinder-like bowl instead of rice cooker. Pre-soak the rice overnight before you steam it.
If you choose to boil them, it might take a lot longer and you have to drain the rice etc etc.
Put the rice in a cylinder like container or a bowl (it doesn't matter, so long as it has a regular shape) and add about equal quantity of water (with the amount of rice), then put the bowl in a steamer/蒸笼 and have it steamed for around 30 mins or till fully cooked.
Then, cool it down a little bit, then overturn the bowl and gently shake the content out onto a plate. Then drizzle some olive oil on top and sprinkle some salt and cinnamon, if you like. - Re: rainy Sunday -- 雨淋淋的周日posted on 04/12/2010

- posted on 04/12/2010

- posted on 04/13/2010
