Unlike those plastic flowers that stays its look, 爱情 lives a life. It's born when it should be born, it grows when it should grow, it flowers when it should flower, it gets old when it should be old, it dies when it should die. You can't expect too much beyond that. You may look for a evergreen "爱情" which never evolves withyour life, but I would suspect it's a true 爱情.
