其实我是绝不反对中国园林的,在小说“天堂无需等待”中大加赞赏。就是因为现在北美的许多中国城,在中心乱堆许多石头,弄个水池,而缺少难以维持的植物,阴阳不太平衡,我认为不自然的有些过份。
但是,你说的这个“RIGHT”的Chinese Garden,我是相信的。把中国园林建得有活气,独出心裁,的确是一种挑战。

Talking about Chinese Garden, there is a good one in the China town of Portland, Oregon. They almost got everything right: the plants, ponds, the rocks, the architectures, etc... except the birds. You are supposed to have a couple of Yuan Yangs in the garden, but somehow they put two male Yuan Yangs there --- probably because males are prettier. I don't know if they became gay couple or not. :)))
