Knot
Knotting at night
In the dark, I left a thread
But you had it untied, before dawn
I bewildered when counting the hours falling by
In the brightest sun
Evidence everywhere
Mankind creations, bird nests, and the peas’ spouting
Colors of the fields ever changing
But I lost all my secrets
As bare and pure
As a shadow of night
Back to the earth, wrapped in the warmth
Feeling happiness, simple and dear
At the level of an insect’s humble eyes
