Highly recommended if (and only if) you are interested in Cold War history, CIA covert operations, US congressional politics, and events leading up to the rise of Taliban and Bin Laden in Afghanistan. (Using Wilson' words : "We f**ked up the end game...."
But for those who are not interested in these subject matters, this is probably a boring and perhaps disturbing movie.
I give it 3.5 stars out of 5. Both Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts did a decent job in their performance, but Philip Hoffman's portray of the CIA operative (Gust) is superb.
