Roberts' imitation of Southern accent was indeed pretty funny. When she introduced Zia-ul-Haq at the luncheon speech, she said so of him: "He did not kill Bhutto." Everybody's jaw dropped. :-)
As I said previously, you've got to know some of the history before you can really appreciate the movie.
