Depend on how much time you have.
Not much in Colorado Spring worth seeing. If you are a mountain lover, you can drive around in the Colorado Rockies. Breckenridge, Vail, Aspen, Rocky Mountain National Park....
If you are interested in only big names, and have around 10 days, you can drive from denver to Yellow stone (or fly to jackson hole, just south of yellow stone), then salt lake, then down to Archies, Moab, grand cayon and las vegas, and leave from there.
To save money on hotel, you can always use checp ones like Hotel 6. They have hotels everywhere. I used them years ago. price may be around $50 a night now.
Lspk, thanks for the advise.
yeah, i like the mountains, so i will skip the Colorado Spring, and will rent a car, and go around these national parks.
$50 a night is not bad, so I will keep to look Hotel 6 for overnight:)
I have not book the flight yet, so still few days to think about the route.
