Leonard Cohen
Dylan blew everyone's mind, except for Leonard Cohen."
He is a man but he is like God!
Suzanne
Chelsea Hotel #2:

WINGED MIGRATION.

第一次知道他是在 Wonder Boys 的 soundtrack 里,他唱的是 Waiting for the Miracle,特别喜欢他的声音。
- posted on 03/07/2009

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
Thats how it goes
Everybody knows
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died

Leonard Cohenposted on 03/08/2009
Lucy,
Winged Migration
It's unique! that film.
I could never get enough of nature shows on movie ,TV, book etc. Leonard Cohenposted on 03/08/2009
Leonard Cohen
Everybody Knows
还有 I'm Your Man 也很喜欢! Leonard Cohenposted on 03/08/2009
2008年10在l’Arena de Genève的另一场演出中« If it be your will »这首歌的演唱极为震撼,我用语言无法描述的那种魔力。
“If it be your will that i speak no more, and my voice be still as it was before. I will speak no more. I shall abide until I am spoken for. If it be your will.”

- posted on 03/08/2009
too soapy romantic~~~
Victorio :)
Suzanne takes you down to
her place near the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night beside her
And you know that she's half crazy
But that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
Then she gets you on her wavelength
And she lets the river answer
That you've always been her lover
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For you've touched her perfect body
with your mind
And Jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said "All men will be sailors then
Until the sea shall free them"
But he himself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
He sank beneath your wisdom like a stone
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you'll trust him
For he's touched your perfect body
with his mind
Now Suzanne takes your hand
And she leads you to the river
She is wearing rags and feathers
From Salvation Army counters
And the sun pours down like honey
On our lady of the harbour
And she shows you where to look
Among the garbage and the flowers
There are heroes in the seaweed
There are children in the morning
They are leaning out for love
And they will lean that way forever
While Suzanne holds the mirror
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that you can trust her
For she's touched your perfect body
with her mind

Robert De Niro.

how about Victorio? Every woman likes him, but no one wants to LIVE with him, because he has nooo money:) Women love money, LOL.
Victorio, how are you?
He is at the same age with Cohen, and also a real Gypsi/Jewish:)
This photo is taken, I believe, 30 years ago. He does not like being photographed now. He hates being old:) He is not old at all, physically and spiritually. He is stronger than any 20 year olds.

Like many other Jewish families with names like Cohen, Katz, and Kagan, Cohen's family claimed descent from the Kohanim: "I had a very Messianic childhood," he told Richard Goldstein in 1967. "I was told I was a descendant of Aaron, the high priest."
In the Bible, Aaron (אַהֲרֹן), or Aaron the Levite (אהרֹן הלוי), was the brother of Moses. He was the great-grandson of Levi (Exodus 6:16-20) and represented the priestly functions of his tribe, becoming the first High Priest of the Hebrews. - posted on 11/17/2009
