- Children don¡¯t need adults to teach them cruelty. Children are naturally cruel creatures and they live in their cruel little world.
I do agree that many children¡¯s literatures are morbid. I¡¯ve listened to some children¡¯s songs. One is about a ladybug¡¯s house is on fire and her children will burn; one is about a farmer¡¯s wife chasing blind mice and cutting their tails off.
Here are some songs we made up and sang to my kid. It will make much more sense if you know the original lyrics. ;-)
