- And almost all Disney stories are full of cruelty, if you have not noticed. Kids/Baby Animal with no mom or dad, uncle kills dad, cruel step moms, etc. Even the whole disneyworld at Florida is full of terrifying rides and shows. It is not a candyland.

I do agree that many children’s literatures are morbid. I’ve listened to some children’s songs. One is about a ladybug’s house is on fire and her children will burn; one is about a farmer’s wife chasing blind mice and cutting their tails off.
