- Watched the movie over the weekend. I like it! Don't know if I am lucky enough to die like that.
The movie practically ruined my hope for the Canadian medical system. Also seriously damaged my fantasy on historians. The academic life doesn't seem to bring wisdom in life or comfort at the end of it. What you can really depend on are: a few good friends, a really responsible son, heroin, and the money to buy heroin.
In reality I've yet to see a peaceful exit. Intelligent men, handsome men, family men, they all leave the world kicking and screaming.
