I am so deeply touched by your comments, and I also appreciate you quoted John Donne, who is one of my most favorite poets.
It is hard to find the exact meaning of the generation of our father's and ourselves, I found it is also equally hard for me to describe the complexity of the past and the aftermyth, but one thing for sure,and i completely agree you at this point: people could still find beauty, hope and human diginity and make sense out of all the painful memories.
