- I bought a D80 about a month ago. I think it's great. Although I know aboslutely nothing about photography, the camera has made me a pro, or at least look like a pro, especially to those as ignorant as I am.
Pros:
* Long batter life. Thousands of pictures per charge.
* Reasonably fast: 3 frames/sec.
* Instant turn-on, as if it sees attractive blondes all the time.
Cons:
* Too bulky. Not easy to carry around or hold steady.
* Too delicate. A careless drop on the floor is not an option.
