- The main point of the book is neither Bach nor Escher, it is Godel's incompleteness theorem. So you can still benefit a lot from the book as far as this main point is concerned, even if you, like me, have no appreciation of Bach's music at all. Sorry that I may have offended quite some people here who are either Bach's experts or his fans. :-)
