我刚收到风子的email， 和任何时候一样，风子永远是乐观的，开朗的，细心的，充满感恩和鼓励的。 从我第一天来到咖啡，他就不断地“提携后进”。 那麽，我也借着今天，向所有的咖啡客献上感谢。
我特别感谢象罔，阿姗，RZP, LM, WOA， 因你们的努力，咖啡在分文资金没有的情况下，坚持到今天，而且越来越大。
感谢Lucy, FuSheng, Susan, GreenTea， 笨笨，小曼， 鹿希，慧元….等等，因着你们的爱护和鼓励，我在最艰难的时刻没有弃咖啡而逃，每天和你们在一起，情如姐妹。

这个统计好玩。

一瞅吓一跳。一年294个贴子！差不多除了节假日每日一贴了。以每个贴子读、写平均半小时算，这是147个小时。也就是说，一年醒着的时间中，有2。5％在此喝电子咖啡。按一小时值最低工资八块钱算，也近1200块。虚拟饮料真贵呀，远超过一年在StarBucks的花费了。怪不得Amazon, Google刚上市股票高得不行。越虚的东西越值钱。天下万物生于有，有生于无。
建议这咖啡店也发行股票算了。谁花的时间多，谁的股份就多。从下面单子看JULY是CEO，XW是CFO，QINGGANG是...UFO，都有年终大bonus了。

朱老师不必被face value所迷惑. 票房不一定说明问题. 你的文化贴我每篇比读. 而且我相信,如果café把记数器设在每条线上, 你开的线的读表远远大于0.
以我个人的体会而言, 之所以对你的贴子回应少, 是因为你写的知识界文化界和文人的东西主题很具体(也可以说很小),内容又很充实. 再加上大部分东西都很陌生(对我), 结果可以讨论和回应的空间很小. 你的下一篇如果是"鲁迅是汉奸". 醒目的标题和结论, 寥寥无几的论述和事实. 你看吧, 鲜花和砖头一起向你投来. 你的读表和你的血压表试比高低.
其实我知道, 朱老师不在乎廉价的鲜花鼓励, 也不需要无故的砖头. 只是较少的反应让你不知所然. 我要说, 没有作出公开的感受不等于没有感受. 感受在心里. 只是由于各种情况(我的情况是知识面) 不好反映出来.

令胡, please don't misunderstand. I was only referring to the 3 encouragements here in this line in particular. As for others, I often thank them in the line that follow up mine, including you in one of my lines. Perhaps you never go back to check what I wrote after your comment. I highly regard your opinion and want to hear more from you. But it seems that it is your style that you just say whatever you want to say and don't care how people respond to yours. Only in rare cases you became very annoyed and attacked back and it became a brutal fight. I'm not sure if that's what abc suggests that I should do here but my intention is to stay away from it.
To test what I've just said, you may check how I did respond to your comments before or I will check here to see if you ever care to respond to how others respond to your comments. See you soon here in Cafe.
In case you still think I forgot to thank you, let me be specific this time. THANK YOU.
By the way, I'm usually quite quiet here but I do read many of the debates in which you participated and I value yours very much. Agreeing or disagreeing does not really matter, but my recollection is I agree with you more often than not, even though I never said so before.
If you still remember my first contact or conflict with you, that is because I had trouble finding you being sincere or joking. I am a person more on the serious side and seldomly kidding. But you seem to switch as often as you like. Now I am sincerely thanking you here, but I'm afriad that most likely you would come back here saying you were just kidding and laugh at me for being serious or lack of sense of humor. This seems a game that always forces me to be at your mercy. I can only pray and beg for mercy.

Thank you again, for one more time. Once I can handle your game better, i.e. keeping on talking without a tongue in cheek, I really would love to have more conversations with you, either here or elsewhere, or privately through email. To tell you the truth, sometimes I wonder if I should view the fact that you didn't throw bricks at me as the highest honor I can get. The only problem is I never know if you have read my essay or not. If only you could just say you have read it already, that'll be good enough.
In fact, that is also my wish for every other reader, i.e. I just want to know that mine has been read by people. If I could know it is read by how many and by whom that will be even better. That's exactly what I wish the internet technic could solve someday. Is it possible to set up a feature in this Cafe to let author know how many and by whom his/her articles have been read? If so, this Cafe will be even more valuable to me. But I guess that will be an intrusion to people's privacy. So, as usual, I give more priority to privacy to curiosity.

你看这些表态勤快的人，朱老师，我坚决相信他们说的是真心话。大家在咖啡一定也看出道道来，离网上和谐社会尚有差距，就是有很多人“回帖不看帖”（令胡冲为首），所以同时很多人是“看帖不回帖”（以老尚为首）。
老板娘曾经询问是否把点击数公布，结果遭到一致反对。她也认为咖啡不是市场叫卖，是心灵沟通，所以充分尊重个人选择，不追求点击泡沫：））

正因为观堂先生对宋词能随手拈来，所以他的“三境说”借用宋词中的名句，便显得极为熨贴，如同天成。其实，观堂先生之“三境说”，古已有之。在《五灯会元》卷十七中，有一则宋代青原惟信禅师的语录：“老僧三十年前未参禅时，见山是山，见水是水。及至后来亲见知识，有个入处，见山不是山，见水不是水。而今得个休歇处，依前见山只是山，见水只是水。”我们写文章的人也好，做学问的人也好，只要有一点儿自己的心得，就不难领会其中的妙处—实乃返璞归真之谓也！
更绝的是，那一写了“红了樱桃，绿了芭蕉”的脍炙人口的名句之词人蒋捷，在其《虞美人 听雨》中也写道：“少年听雨歌楼上，红烛昏罗帐。中年听雨客舟中，江阔云低，断雁叫西风。 而今听雨僧庐下，鬓已星星也。悲欢离合总无情，一任阶前点滴到天明。”这听雨之三境，与青原惟信禅师和观堂先生岂不是有异曲同工之妙？
回想自己上网两年多来的切身体会，我忍不住要狗尾续貂，来它个上网三境说：“妆罢低声问夫婿，画眉深浅入时无，”此第一境也。“江东子弟多才俊，卷土重来未可知，”此第二境也。“岂有豪情似旧时，花开花落两由之，” 此第三境也。诸位跟人掐架时不依不饶的，看来你们的火候还差那么一点儿呢。。。

朱兄太客气了。多年前的email我自然看了。用我email的网友很少，所以通信都记着。里面accuse我inconsistent，至今记忆犹新。而且你用真名和哈佛大学的办公email - 我思之再三，说得太认真了，非我网上本性，一言不合，就会疏远我们的距离。再开玩笑呢，不是你的私用信箱，不知道是否会带去麻烦。就没回信辩论。
不过这个指责我这些年来一直记着。从来没有丝毫不快在里面，但基调却不敢苟同。一来网上为什么一定要consistent; 二来如果人的言论思想始终如一，那凡事岂不是只说一遍即可。网上不可能每天换新题，我也不可能老盯着，那我在这网上死撑着岂不是没有意义。这岂不是逼我戒网吗？生活中也是这样，如果对某事的认识和理解始终如一，那人30以后还有没有必要活下去呢？越想越害怕，觉着这里头有一种深刻的阴谋或悖论在里头。至少也是张宽先生的吊诡在里头。:)
后来有一天，才突然想到，consistently inconsistent那不也是一种consistency嘛，这才心下释然。能够接着从容跟贴，为所欲为了。CND上的签名，也是受可丽的刺激和朱先生的鞭策而特加的。人嘛，总有办法使自己纳入正轨。:)
朱兄的贴子，我是先看题目。题目有趣，才看内容。大约看了有一半，大都不负期望。其中关于一篇禅的介绍还有印象。我对禅诗也比较喜爱。不过当时太忙，没能过去凑趣。不过只要长久，就是朋友，以后掐架的机会多得是。

Hey, a nice hands shaking here. So glad to meet you here and have this conversation. Once again you showed how well your head works. Your point about changing views is really valid. That's why I always wait for at least a month before I post my essay here, for I know I may change my mind very soon and have different opinions. Only if I found myself stable in my view for a month I feel cetain that it decently represents my opnion. Looking forward to more conversations with you and everyone else in Cafe.

后来有一天，才突然想到，consistently inconsistent那不也是一种consistency嘛，这才心下释然。能够接着从容跟贴，为所欲为了。CND上的签名，也是受可丽的刺激和朱先生的鞭策而特加的。人嘛，总有办法使自己纳入正轨。:)

Thanks for the offer. Now I know where to find support. But in fact I always count him as my friend, and my only concern was I wasn't sure if he sees me as his friend, but now I know and feel much relieved.

我感到,令胡兄就是那种有勇气做个温厚而真诚的人. 令胡兄也对我拍过几次砖, 但我感到的却是一种肯定与鼓励, 来自温厚人的真诚鼓励.
做个温厚而真诚的人并不容易, 一致性要求他必须更加温厚而真诚,否则很容易被别人认为虚伪. 要把一个温厚而真诚的人做好,其实需要很高的做人技巧或天赋.
我本人是与社会打交道不多的人. 最近一段时间我在网络虚拟社区有点随心所欲与社会打交道了一回. 我比较深切的感受是, 如果一个人没有比较好的做人技巧或天赋,还是随大遛彬彬有礼好.

令老,你这真真假假的算你运气好. 碰上的是一个认真的学者. 如果碰上一个钟情的妹妹, 你杳无音信.人家要有个三长两短的, 你如何交代啊.
OK. 这不是真真假假的问题,而是游戏规则的认同问题. 说游戏规则好象有点假的意思. 但我是指一种双方认同的规范. 这认真和不认真的冲突已经说过好几次了. 从CND到café. 这问题是挺头疼. 如果大家都是小孩, 问题好办. 一个声明就可以:
我来café不回个人email,一切在网上公开;
我来café不交朋友, 也不做任何超过网上意义的事情;
以令老的例子,我来café, 99%不和人有私下email来往.
......
可惜, 大家不是小孩.所以这样的个人声明只能从你的网上表现中体会. 这就不免造成误会.
我越读你的贴子越觉得称你为令老不妥. 没办法, 谁让你比大多数人早几年来到café的. Café的论资排辈是按工龄不是年龄的,只能认了.

非要论网络资历，不敢挑战小赵～，但这店里十年八年的应该不在少数。九六、九七年我偶尔去CND瞎逛，就是当时拜读了诗人雪阳。咖啡店里网龄在那以前的，应该还有梦冉，阿姗，老尚等等。
那时上中文网的主要任务，不是与Spam作斗争，而是如何对付乱码。魏亚桂的中文应该还没出现，每天去ACT的牛肆铺学习还得用DOS 界面的Telnet。
记得最搞笑的是看球赛，远不比如今网上的NBA视频直播。在国内时喜欢看足球，到加拿大啥也没的看，幸好国内有一位大善人“西湖黄鱼”，每天在网上公布足球信息，遇到重要比赛还文字转播。
有一场世界杯预选，中国时间是这边的早上，课间休息时我去图书馆上网，找到西湖黄鱼的网站，也看到最后2：1的比分，但因为图书馆电脑不支持中文，除了数字比分其余全部乱码，搞得我心里很着急。当时电话费一块五一分钟，又不能轻易打回去询问，所以一直等到吃午饭，回到学院机房才弄清楚。结果当然是输了，白白激动了两小时。
