天哪, 看了这篇文章, 才知道青春祭的导演已经去世, 而且已经去世十年了! :( 娜斯还是她的女儿......真叫人有点时空错乱之感, 感觉好像当年(也是95)刚到洛杉矶,突然听说张爱玲死了, 就在洛杉矶! 青春祭和孩子王, 算是我最喜欢的中国电影了. 九十年代以后的国产电影, 至少在情感上差太远了.

梦者可是单身异性恋男性? 我觉得是性梦,羡慕他人有所斩而自己不得而入. 胡猜,希望不要介意.

Echo (San mao) and Fuge are both my favorites. Echo is an "participant observer", she's part of the story, without her there is no story. Her best works are not travel essays, but stories happened to occur in a foreign setting. Fuge is mostly a cool observer, an articulate aethetist, but we love him the most when he does, occasionally and subtly, reveal himself under the mask of a passerby.

Aliens intervened with the evolution process, there's no doubt about it :) IMHO, what's dangerous about religion is not what it tells, is how it can limit and harden the human soul which has a great potential to be free, be it by design or by evolution. Human beings are too stupid to understand religion as a metaphor, instead we take it literally by words.
