Funny. You are probably a 16 century man born into the 21st century by accident. Too bad you can not dial the clock back. hehe...

the crisis is not caused by saving
saving is a natural reaction to the uncertainty and the loss of personal wealth (housing and stocks).

so this guy bought the housing in 1985 (probably for less than 6K) and will be lossing his house? Did he cash-out refinance and used the proceeds to buy cars, furnitures and HDTV?
The details of the story are at least lacking.

The problem with this analysis is that even if new deal worked before, it is not clear it will work this time.

" I am for freedom, and you DARE to argue with me. You must be anti-freedom"

I have to agree with Ëκè±ø this time.
US consumes too much while produces too little, and the gap is widening. Obama cannot narrow the gap.

I guess there is no dispute among economists that government should step in to clean up the credit crisis. The dispute is
1) where and how much to put the money.
2) what caused the credit crisis

Funny thing is that this resort has nothing to do with wall street.
This resort is for the top performing agents of the life insurance, i.e. those agents who sold the most life insurance for the company. These people are NOT executives,
NOR they are wall street traders. Most companies have such events for their top sale people.
¿à¹Ï is again thinking with heart not with mind, which is of course much better than the politicians who think with their bottoms.

sorry, what you are trying to say?
What I am trying to say is:
Don't shut others up for the sake of logic. And have an open mind to the possibility that your reasoning is totally flawed. Last, but not the least, try to see if you can think out-of-the-box.
