Regular CTY summer camps will not bring anyone any advantages on college admission. CTY has a SET program which has little creditability for college even through CTY can provide a letter for one to apply to a college. There are couple of summer camps which can give a candidate advantage, the top ones for humanity and Science/Engineering are 1. TASP 2. Intel Science fair winners and some others. I really wish that people can distinguish a non-profit web site and a web site which is going to move to business operation model. If the decision is to move to the latter, it has to have a biz plan and a steering group at least. Whoever with any biz operation experience would point this out. Of cause there are new evidences and kids will explore more creative ways or thoughts to polish their strategies. Colleges are setting up new courses to teach fundamental theories. Couple of years, I heard that there was this guy who had probably one of highest IQs in the world, who was a bartender at the time and was writing what the universe was in his own view...
