这两部百老汇的歌剧都是安德烈。韦伯的经典。我更喜欢《猫》，是用艾略特的诗改编的。因为《猫》，韦伯娶了莎拉。布莱特曼。布莱特曼出过一盘cd, 唱的全是韦伯的歌。其中最有名的就是《猫》里的《记忆》（Memory）. 我看过夏先生对丁玲和萧红的评价，和我想得一样，尤其是他对萧红的评价，让我有逢知音的感慨。至于张爱玲，我倒不是从先生那里知道的，一直是张爱玲的大扇子，也不是老夏的功劳。没读过，不胡说了。

Agreed! 如果只有几个高手，那末，这些音乐根本不能千秋万代地流传下来。我毫不脸红地承认我非常喜欢梁祝，我认为的确是中国最好的音乐之一。也没有必要去和巴赫比。莫扎特的音乐也是当时的流行音乐。流传下来，就成了古典。
