I noticed the book long time ago before it made to the best seller list but I never felt the need to browse it. It is unnecessary. Indeed there is way too much bullshit around everywhere. I've long believed Hemingway's call for writers to be "walking shit-detectors". Being aware of the problem, the book itself was flushed into the toilet.:)

Well well well. Again it is an interesting subject for fuzzy guys like me. I still remember the old days when I read article after article about the concept of force in the journal called "Dialectics of Nature". Old ghosts still lurch and huant modern thinking men. The concept of force in physics, like the concept of value in economics, is not going to go away. They may prove to be indispensable to their respective disciplines after a modern, ingenious reformulation.

My lord! I finally finish reading it. Very lovely. Though there are many people who have joie de vivre, you are distinguishly you. I feel your writing and your name are footnote to each other. The freshness and vividness came from your ability to transcribe life into words without much deliberation and with your toes.:) And above all, it is your spirit that triumphs! I consider the existence of you a small miracle on our despairing planet. :)

什么叫恐怖主义？怒目圆睁要小孩老实吃饭算不算恐怖主义？这恐怖主义的说法大有成者王，败则寇的味道。说别人恐怖主义几近下流。世上也许真有几个以恐怖为乐的病蛋，大部分都是以恐怖为手段的。所以叫别人为“恐怖主义者”于反“恐”无益。妈的连对手的动机都搞不清，反个鸟？如何解决？再说，世界上有用软刀子杀人的，算不算恐怖主义？ 所以，本虻建议先把“恐怖主义”这顶无用的帽子扔了再说。

玛雅也向我的“手提生活”(portable life)靠拢了？天下最好的东西在自己的皮囊里面，跑哪里都掉不了。掉了，就谁都不是了。主机，加上一点附件就可以了。 玛雅到堪萨斯，就像牛虻到梵蒂冈。现在我的认知协调点了，当然不希望以玛雅的开心生活为代价。
