I am with DingLin2 and 99 Xiong. Sorry, I can't write Chinese now. I don't trust anyone who makes comments on a book he has not even read. Gao's play over 20 years ago were great experimental pieces. His novels at least have tried one thing that no one else has tried before, the ingenious use of different points of view about one and the same person. That's a skill he develped in directing plays. The commentators did not seem to have understood Gao's way of writing.

I think Gu was talking about the current Chinese lit., say, China's lit. in the last 20 years or so. I also liked Wang Anyi's Chang Hen Ge very much when I first read it about 10 years ago. Gao Xingjian is great as far as his new way of writing is concerned. Many Chinese writers, Liu Xinwu, for example, owed Gao so much for introducing new ideas, and they acknowledged their debts.

再努力工作，再有才，再重要，主管的工资差别也不应与普通雇员有那么大。我想这统计大概加入了主管的股票收入。如果是这样，这比较就不科学了，是在拿不同的项相比。商业主管越来越多地占有股份倒是近年来的趋势。
