It almost reads like an adventure story, with suspense and hinting at great surprises. Obviously, common sense suggests that the author would not be kidnapped, threatened to be killed, or become the subject of a romance, as is typical of a James Bond story. Nevertheless, the tone of the story is such that has sufficiently created a healthy dose of anxiety in the reader to attract him back to read more. Good stuff, as always.

You cannot really speak from your personal experience, because by doing so you would admit, to your own humiliation and embarrassment, you have had the same problem. If on the other hand you give advice based on other second-hand sources, you run into the risk of providing medical service without a license. My two cents: see your family physician with your spouse. :)

However, I was somehow totally distracted by the nonchalant smoker: his relentless pollution in a public place, disrespect of other non-smokers nearby, and a lack of genteelness, notwithstanding his ostensible elocution. It's not hard to imagine that at the end of the conversation, he must be really smelly as he approached the narrator. Let's hope his ideas were simply not as badly odored as his lips and clothes, completely

It is not easy to distill from a long-gone imperial glory, forever buried in dusts and prairies, and combine it with the direly contrasting lackluster aspects of modern day Mongolian life. The poet clearly did it well. In his poetic version of the Mongolian world, the reader relives and feels the empowering past and enduring

The only difference is that this time the holy revelation is not someone from the Bible, like Our Lady of Lourdes. It is Charles Darwin, author of The Origin Of Species and founder of the modern evolutionary movement. The theory of evolution once clashed violently and is still at odds with the Biblical creation theory. As evolutionists flocked to the small Tennessee town to wi

One example here takes an extreme view. This view may nevertheless be true in many situations. For instance, whenever we fail to learn enough from a tragedy, the tragedy may as well become just ¡°a splash quite unnoticed.¡± The last thing we want to see is the painful quake tragedy in Sichuan in May 2008 eventually falls into oblivion in history, along with many nameless victims. ==================================== Lan

Of course, "my father"'s view will receive different reception, depending on the age and experience of the audience. When I first read it at the age of 18, it was nothing but hogwash. His theory of "the middle station" of life being the best resembles a middle-class life style many are enjoying right now. But that view clearly would not be very appealing to teenagers having a whole life just unfolded before them, even to ma
