What are 复调与和声 in English?

我想还有个好处就是避免为人所惑。好像做什么事情都是一样，一个是为了好玩，一 个是为了自己知道一些就不容易被忽悠。

Rubenstein, who served in the White House in the Carter administration, said he would lend the manuscript to the National Archives in Washington, where it has been on view until recently.

不是说小说原型和郑萍如无关吗？ 说句题外话：张虽然对政治题材无兴趣，对情爱，性之类的倒也未见得关注。她感 兴趣的似乎是那种尴尬的，上下不得其所的人生状态。所以我看到李安说他要“把 美好的东西打碎了给人看”，就有点惋惜。他们是不同的人。张爱玲是不作这种惊 天动地的大举动的，比如她不会把一袭华美的袍撕碎了给你看，她会让虱子在上面 慢慢爬给你看 --- 因为生命若是干干净净的就能结束那命运未免对你也太客气了点。
