Sunlover has a point.
Bush's simplistic world view, especially on the issues of Iraq and Middle East, is in itself terrifying, too bad the world is not running like what the Neo-cons wish it to be. Too bad not enough Americans can see this. It seems this nation is now overwhelmed by the blind trust in Bush sprung from its orthodox faith.
To Sieg - the way I see it, Kerry, if elected, will definitely continue rebuilding Afghanistan and Iraq, but with more international support for sure.

Glad to know someone else heard about her and likes her too.
She is a thinker. So few nowadays among woman writers in China.

Thanks so much, a reader. It must have cost you quite some trouble.
I am posting the poem here for future read -
II - Elegy
When man had ceased to utter his lament,
A god then let me tell my tale of sorrow.
WHAT hope of once more meeting is there now
In the still-closed blossoms of this day?
Both heaven and hell thrown open seest thou;
What wav'ring thoughts within the bosom play
No longer doubt! Descending from the sky,
She lifts thee in her arms to realms on high.
And thus thou into

If your marriage is an enjoyment, you are lucky by getting married.
Otherwise treat it as your life ordeal through which you become a better person, you are still lucky by getting married.
So, go marriage! :)

Chicago Impression
- over the giant fountain by the lake
As the dancing spring vanished,
The fair city was ready to retire.
The pale street lights flashed,
Glimmering like timid dozy fire.
Dark wrapped the lake till morn,
Immersed, I heard its breathing -
A dream perished, another reborn,
The waves alive in rising 'n falling.
Along the wondrous lakeshore,
Chicago, stretch your longi

Schiller said something about the theater -
The stage is the common channel through which the light of wisdom streams down from the thoughtful, better part of society, spreading thence in mild beams throughout the entire state. Truer ideas, more refined precepts, purified emotions then flow into the veins of the population; the clouds of barbarism and dark superstition disperse; night yields to victorious light.

For those who are really interested in reading or writing poetry, I suggest a great read - Emerson's essay The Poet. You can find it online. Here's the link -
http://www.vcu.edu/engweb/transcendentalism/authors/emerson/essays/poettext.html
Recently I also read Wallace Stevens' essay The Figure of the Youth as Virile Poet, one thing I noticed of this modern poet is that, he basically holds a same view on poetry as Emerson, that is, a poet sees and reveals the truth, like light, he illuminates the world
